We Are Among Friends

Yesterday I had the privilege of meeting in Portland with people I had never met before in my life. I drove up there in the pouring rain, lost my way, called and was given brief directions and found my way to a lovely home.
The source of life was very rainy yesterday and indeed will be for the rest of this week. But that is beautiful Oregon, full of liquid sunshine. I was introduced to people I had never met before and soon we were in conversation getting to know each other. The first thing I noticed (being rather shy to speak) is how comfortable I felt with these people. It was like being with family. I noticed I had no guard up which surprised me. Most of my life I have been very guarded about what I say for fear of sounding out of acceptance. After all you cannot just walk up to perfect strangers and start talking about arch angels and vibrations and deep personal experiences. Well, maybe some people can, but not me.
Thinking about it today I feel that my experience was coming from love. It permeated throughout the whole afternoon and evening. I just wanted to say what an honor it was to experience it with such wonderful souls. I experienced the energy of the source of life coming from everyone. I hope that we all can have such an experience as time moves forward. The peace and fulfillment of it is quite remarkable and helps me to understand that everything is really all okay. We truly are spirit having a human experience.I just wanted to share this experience with everyone. And thank you for the obsidian. It is exactly what I needed right now in my life. Nature is very healing if we allow her to assist us.
