There are times when I thought I understood a situation and then GOD would give me a whole new and deeper perspective.  I had been praying for a very long time about illnesses and suffering.  In particular the various illness and suffering that befalls children.  As I sat in a hospital ward rocking a child who had been abused to the point that her beautiful little face was unrecognizable, I cried and asked in prayer,”Why?”.  I asked about this many times.  Then one day when I asked again a revelation was given to me that I will never forget.  I was walking in a park in early spring, just when daffodils stood out against the last remnants of snow and the cold wind.  I asked again.  My FATHER spoke.

Oh My Child-because you inquire with a concerned and pure heart-I will help you to understand this truth.

Do you see the little daffodils?  How they grow in nature.  They are subject to all the elements.  Wind, rain, hail, heat and drought.  And if you look closely you can see how weather worn are some, and yet others appear perfect, in every way.

Yet know this-and notice also.  The bruised, split and weather worn flower turns up its tender face to MY light, just as the perfect one.  And it is no less beautiful in My sight.

So, do not worry yourself for these children, except it be for their care and that love which you can give them, which is for your own souls growth.  For they are also about My work, and I love them dearly.  They do turn up their tender faces to My light.  And, like you, that portion that is ME, WILL ALWAYS BE.

Listen to the yearning of your heart and follow through.

Seek the Lord who is hiding behind all creation.  The road to travel begins at your heart.  Remove yourself from the workings and demands of the day and contemplate in the stillness of your heart the creator of this beautiful world.  Take time each day to contemplate and commune with the One behind creation, and He will open a great understanding and truth to you.  And your world will unfold for you.

And HE said to me through the soft filters of my mind, HIS voice like the buffeting of the wind.

“You are like a grain of sand upon my vast beach.  Look and see how many are the grains of sand.  And notice how my sunlight touches each and everyone, even you.  You are all precious to me, and there is not a one who is not touched by me.”

I am beginning to awaken to a greater reality in which there is incredible love and truth.  I am awakening to an understanding of the beauty and aliveness of all things, especially the Earth.  I am blessed to be here at this time of awakening and understanding of my connection with the source of all creation and I realize that as I am so is my brother and sister, which is everyone.  It is time for us to awaken and be the wonderful creative purpose we came here to be.  It was a choice done from love.  Love for this beautiful planet, all that is created, all that is truth, light, and love.

It is time!

I want to ask you to do one thing.  Be aware of your thoughts.  Do you know how powerful your thoughts are?  We are co-creators with the source of all life, we always have been.  The first place you create is in your thoughts and your thoughts are in your mind.  To have a better world we must all come together and create by “renewing our minds”.  Switch on your positive thoughts.  Greet each day with love and enthusiasm.  Connect with nature.  Create a garden of Eden (really, physically take the time to connect with your world in these simple ways) and sit back and watch life happen.  Nothing in life comes about by chance.  If you want your world to change for the better, change your thoughts for the best.  Can you imagine the beautiful world we would have just by changing our mental picture of life.  It is that easy.   Have a wonderful day!

The world is nothing in itself.  Your mind must give it meaning.  A Course in Miracles.

That power that nourishes the universe will supply us with every needed thing to the degree that we are open to it.  The abundance of life is all about us, and is expressing in the direction of fulfillment at every moment.  We need only to become aware of the activity of good and arrange conditions so that the natural inclination of life can flow through and around us.

We only assume ourselves to be individualized beings.  We falsely conceive that we are bound to a mind and a body.  Our real, larger nature is omnipresent because our larger nature is GOD.  It is not correct to assert, “I am God.”  It is correct to know, “GOD is expressing as me, as the ocean expresses as the wave.”  Until we awaken to the truth about our true being and our relationship with the ocean of consciousness, we wander through the corridors of space and time in an unconscious manner.

Because there is but one reality, one ocean of consciousness, there can only be one power.  Do not think in terms of powers and influences other than the power of GOD.

Whenever we seem to confront a force in opposition to the ideal of good, of health and function, of fulfillment, we need to relax the conscious mind and be reminded that we are attuned to the one power of the universe which, alone, can carry us through all seeming obstacles.

Through many days of sitting in the silence.  Through struggling with the ego and the attitude of self.  Through the constant digging and removing of the weeds in my garden, I am beginning to see.  My teacher told me to “just move past the self, step over it, pass through it, overcome the fear of it, to find the truth of your nature”.  Over time I have come to realize that there was a sudden and wonderful change that takes place and I have moved from the understanding of a body with a soul, to the absolute understanding of a soul energy that is inhabiting a body.  I am part of that GOD energy known as myself.  The body is the holy temple of the soul.  It is how I experience, taste life, feel whatever it is I choose to feel.  It is a gift.  Upon gaining that understanding, I look around and realize how sacred the souls of humanity as my brother and sister souls truly are.  We are all one and the same.  We need to wake up and know this.  All desire of anger, hate, and wrong thinking left me, as I realized that no matter where in the world, what religion, what color we are, my brother and I are one.  I have an important choice to make regarding how I want to “be” in my world.  I choose love.
